Meet Dr. Frank Lichtenberger, MD, PhD, Medical Director at The Eczema Relief Store
Dr. Frank Lichtenberger is Board Certified: Internal Medicine, Allergy/Immunology and received his doctor of medicine (MD) from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2006. Prior to that, he completed his PhD research in Immunology studying the mechanisms of chronic inflammation. He completed his fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the National Institutes of Health in 2011, and has been in clinical practice ever since. "Dr. Frank" joined the staff at the Eczema Relief Store as Medical Director in 2015.
Dr. Frank was first introduced to wet wrap therapy for the treatment of eczema as a clinical fellow at the NIH during a research study. He was amazed at the rapid rate at which patients with a large burden of ezcema improved in all symptomatic areas.
He frequently treats individuals suffering from eczema including adults, babies and children. He writes articles relating to eczema and allergies that are featured on the Eczema Relief Store Blog and on Facebook.
