hannahsleepingbanner2.jpgFAQ on Our Wrap-E-Soothe™ Eczema Clothing for Wet and Dry Wrap Therapy.

Will My Child Be Comfortable?

The Wrap-E-Soothe™ Suits, Tops, Bottoms and Sleeves were carefully designed for your eczema child’s maximum comfort.  Designed with eczema treatment in mind, they are perfect for children with eczema and sensitive skin. The lightweight fabric fits easily under regular clothing or approved sleepwear. There are no itchy seams, no itchy tags and the fabric is light as air! The zipper is fully enclosed inside the Wrap-E-Soothe™ Suit so it never comes in contact with your child’s skin. A chin guard of fabric protects your child from the top of the zipper. We have heard feedback that children enjoy dressing in our Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments because of the soothing effects on their skin. It is recommended to wear a dry layer over our products for warmth during wet wrap therapy if you live in a cold climate. The Wrap-E-Soothe™ garments are also wonderful worn dry over emollients to protect healing skin and the anti-itch fabric soothes itchy skin.

What Is The Best Way To Apply The Wrap-E-Soothe™ Eczema Treatment Garments?

It’s very quick and easy to dress your child in the Wrap-E-Soothe™ garments. For the Rescue Suit™, we suggest placing your child’s feet and legs in first. Then pull the Eczema Suit up and place your child’s arms in the Suit. It is easiest to fold over the hand covers before placing your child’s arms in the Suit. Then it’s one easy zip!  For the eczema Sleeves just slip on arms, legs, feet and ankles. The Wrap-E-Soothe™ Top and Bottom just go on like regular clothing.

Please look at our video on our Video Page to see a mother wet wrapping her baby's eczema in less than 2 minutes! We also have a great wet wrap therapy diagram on our Effective Treatment Section.

What Do You Suggest My Child Wear On Top Of The Wrap-E-Soothe™ Products?

Your child may wear their regular clothing or approved sleepwear over the Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments. We do recommend they wear socks or slippers to prevent slipping if you are using the Wrap-E-Soothe™ garments damp for wet wrap therapy.

What Is The Proper Fit For The Wrap-E-Soothe™ Eczema Treatment Garments?

All of our eczema treatment garments are designed to be worn snug fitting and close to the skin. The snug fit makes wet and dry wrap therapy very effective for treating eczema. The Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments have 6% spandex so they stay close to the eczema skin for very effective treatment.

What Makes TENCEL® A Superior Fabric Over Regular Cotton for Treating Eczema?

Cotton can seem rough and irritating to children with eczema. TENCEL® /lyocell is one of the softest fabrics in the world. Cotton becomes even rougher when wet. TENCEL® remains soft when wet. TENCEL® also holds more water than cotton and is more breathable than cotton. TENCEL® also greatly inhibits the growth of bacteria on the fabric promoting healthy skin. These benefits make wet wrap therapy and dry wrap therapy for eczema treatment extremely comfortable and effective. Please see our fabric video on our Video Page to see all the wonderful benefits TENCEL® has for eczema and sensitive skin.

Do You Take Returns?

We’re sorry but we do not accept returns if the package has been opened. Please refer to the size chart on the product pages. If you have questions please call us and we will be happy to help you determine the right size.

How Long Will My Wrap-E-Soothe™ Products Last?

For frequent use, such as daily wet wrap therapy, the Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments should last 3-4 months. They will last for many months if they are used less frequently. Follow proper care instructions and make certain to wash inside-out on the gentle cycle in a delicate wash bag and lay flat to dry. Dryer use and bleach will cause the Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments to pill and will affect the longevity of the products.

Why Should I Wash On Gentle With A Delicate Wash Bag?

The Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments are Class I Medical Devices in the bandage category and are made to replace wet gauze bandages for extremely effective eczema treatment. The fabric is so great for people with eczema because it is so smooth and lightweight. Proper care requires laundering inside-out in a gentle wash laundry bag and laying it flat to dry. Drying the Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments in a dryer will cause excessive pilling. Bleach will cause the fabric to break down faster.

How Often Should I Wash My Wrap-E-Soothe™ Eczema Treatment Garments?

Wash after each use. If your child requires frequent wet wraps, we suggest purchasing two Wrap-E-Soothe™ eczema garments.

Do You Ship To Other Countries?

We ship to Europe and Canada but we are happy to accommodate you so please send us an e-mail about delivery outside the U.S. at info@adrescuewear.com.

Why Are All Your Eczema Clothes White?

Research reports that dyes, such as blue and black, can cause problems for individual's that suffer from eczema and sensitive skin. Our Wrap-E-Soothe™ garments and all our eczema clothing are dye, zinc and chemical free. Warning: If you have a metal allergy or suspect a metal allergy, you should NOT wear zinc infused eczema clothing.
